3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the back or side of the monitor.
- Insert the included batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

- Connect the air plug of the arm cuff firmly into the air jack on the side of the monitor.
- Wrap the cuff around your upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above your elbow. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm.
- Ensure the cuff is snug but not too tight. You should be able to insert two fingers comfortably between the cuff and your arm.
- Position the cuff so the artery mark (if present) is over your brachial artery.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Taking a Measurement
- Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
- Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
- Remain still and quiet during the measurement. Avoid talking or moving.
- Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will begin to inflate automatically.
- The monitor will deflate the cuff and display your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
- Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the monitor, or it will power off automatically after a few minutes of inactivity.
4.2 Understanding Your Readings
- Systolic Pressure: The top number, indicating the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats.
- Diastolic Pressure: The bottom number, indicating the pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats.
- Pulse Rate: Your heart rate, measured in beats per minute.
