5. Setup

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the TotalCool 3000 from its packaging and ensure all components listed in Section 3 are present.
2. Place the Unit: Position the air cooler on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow (at least 15 cm from walls or other obstructions).
3. Fill the Water Tank:
   • Open the water tank cover located on the top of the unit.
   • Fill the tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. For enhanced cooling, you may add ice cubes to the water.
   • Close the water tank cover securely.
4. Connect Power:
   • For 12V/24V operation: Connect the provided 12V/24V power plug into the unit's power input port and then into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket or compatible power outlet.
   • For mains operation: Use an appropriate mains adapter (not always included, check package contents) to connect the unit to a standard wall outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button (⏻) on the control panel to turn the unit on or off. The unit will start at the lowest fan speed.
2. Adjust Fan Speed: The TotalCool 3000 features 4 fan speed settings. Press the fan speed buttons (~, ~~, ~~~, ~~~~) to cycle through the available speeds: Low, Medium, High, and Boost.
3. Evaporative Cooling: The unit will automatically begin evaporative cooling once powered on and water is present in the tank. Ensure the water tank is always filled for optimal cooling performance.
4. Low Voltage Cut-off: The TotalCool 3000 is equipped with a low voltage battery cut-off technology to prevent draining your vehicle's battery. If the voltage drops too low, the unit will automatically shut off.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your TotalCool 3000.

• Water Tank Cleaning:
  • Empty and clean the water tank regularly (at least once a week with regular use) to prevent mold and mildew buildup.
  • Use a soft cloth and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Filter Replacement:
  • The evaporative filter should be replaced periodically, depending on usage and water quality. A replacement filter is included with your unit.
  • To replace, open the top cover, carefully remove the old filter, and insert the new one, ensuring it sits correctly.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and dry, and the filter is clean and dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
