Setup
Before first use, please follow these steps to ensure safe and optimal performance of your Oster® Compact Countertop Oven With Air Fryer.
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials, including any internal packing and protective films. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
- Placement: Place the oven on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 4-6 inches) on all sides and above the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place it near flammable materials or under cabinets that are not heat-resistant.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash the removable baking pan, air fry basket, and wire rack in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- First Use Burn-Off: Before cooking food, operate the oven empty for approximately 15 minutes at 450°F (232°C) on the "Bake" setting. This will burn off any manufacturing oils and eliminate initial odors. A slight odor or smoke is normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will extend the life of your oven and ensure optimal performance. Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Interior: Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild liquid soap. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid abrasive sponges or metal scouring pads.
- Crumb Tray: The removable crumb tray (located at the bottom) should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent grease buildup and potential fire hazards. Slide it out, discard crumbs, wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly before replacing.
- Wire Rack, Baking Pan, and Air Fry Basket: These accessories are dishwasher safe or can be hand-washed with warm, soapy water. Ensure they are completely dry before storing or reinserting into the oven.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes that could scratch the stainless steel finish.
- Door: Clean the glass door with a glass cleaner or a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the door seal.
