2. Product Overview
The HOMVILLA Digital Alarm Clock is designed for convenience and functionality, featuring a large LED mirror display, dual alarms, temperature display, voice activation, and adjustable brightness and volume settings.

3. Setup
3.1 Powering the Device
The alarm clock can be powered in two ways:
- USB Power: Connect the included USB cable to the 5V/1A port on the back of the clock and to a USB power adapter (not included) or a compatible USB port. When connected via USB, the LED display remains continuously on.
- Battery Power: The clock has a built-in lithium battery for backup power. When operating on battery, the LED display will automatically turn off after 6 seconds of inactivity to conserve power. The display can be activated by voice or by pressing a button. Ensure the clock is fully charged when primarily using battery power.
3.2 Initial Time and Date Setting
Follow these steps to set the time and date:
- Press and hold the TIME SET button on the back of the clock. The hour display will begin to flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press TIME SET again to confirm the hour and move to minute adjustment. Use UP and DOWN to set the minutes.
- Continue pressing TIME SET to cycle through and set the year, month, and day using the UP and DOWN buttons.
- After setting the date, press TIME SET one last time to exit the setting mode.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Time Display Format (12/24 Hour)
To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, briefly press the 12/24 HRS button on the back of the clock.
4.2 Setting Alarms
The clock features two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2). Each alarm can be set to a different time.
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button. The Alarm 1 hour display will flash.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour for Alarm 1.
- Press ALARM SET again to confirm the hour and move to minute adjustment. Use UP and DOWN to set the minutes.
- Press ALARM SET again to select the alarm melody (see section 4.3). Use UP and DOWN to cycle through the 10 available melodies.
- Press ALARM SET again to set Alarm 2, repeating steps 2-4.
- After setting Alarm 2, press ALARM SET one last time to exit the setting mode.
To activate or deactivate an alarm, use the dedicated ALARM 1 ON/OFF and ALARM 2 ON/OFF switches on the back of the clock. When an alarm is active, its corresponding icon (1 or 2) will appear on the display.

4.3 Alarm Melodies and Volume
The clock offers 10 different alarm melodies, ranging from gentle tunes to more energetic sounds. These can be selected during the alarm setting process (refer to step 4 in section 4.2).

To adjust the alarm volume, use the VOLUME ADJUSTMENT button on the back of the clock. There are three volume levels available.

4.4 Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, gently press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 5 minutes, and the alarm icon will flash. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button on the back of the clock.

4.5 Brightness Adjustment
The clock offers 4 levels of display brightness. If powered by USB, the clock can automatically adjust brightness based on the time of day. You can also manually adjust the brightness:
- Briefly press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock to cycle through the 4 brightness levels.
- When operating on USB power, the clock can automatically adjust its brightness.

4.6 Voice Activation Feature
When the clock is running on battery power, the display will turn off after 6 seconds to save energy. You can activate the display by making a sound (e.g., clapping your hands) that reaches approximately 90 decibels or by gently knocking on the surface where the clock is placed. The display will light up for 6 seconds.
Note: The voice activation function is disabled when the clock is continuously powered via USB. In USB charging mode, the display remains on.

4.7 Temperature Display
The clock displays the ambient temperature. To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), briefly press the UP button.
Note: For accurate temperature readings, allow the clock to remain stationary for at least 30 minutes after unpacking.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.
5.2 Battery Care
The built-in lithium battery provides backup power. To ensure optimal battery life:
- Charge the clock fully before first use.
- If the clock will not be used for an extended period, charge it periodically to prevent deep discharge.
- Always use a 5V/1A or 5V/2A adapter for charging.
