Installation Steps:
- Select Location: Determine the desired mounting location on a wall or ceiling. Ensure there are no electrical wires or pipes behind the drilling points.
- Mark Drilling Points: Hold the screen casing against the chosen surface and use a pencil to mark the positions for the mounting brackets. Use a level to ensure the marks are perfectly horizontal.

5. Operating Instructions
The tectake Projection Screen features a manual pull-down mechanism for easy operation.
Extending the Screen:
- Gently pull down the screen by the integrated pull cord.
- Pull the screen down to the desired length. The screen features an automatic locking mechanism. To lock the screen in place, pull it down slightly further than the desired position, then release it slowly. The screen will retract slightly and lock.
Retracting the Screen:
- Gently pull the screen down by the pull cord approximately 2-3 cm (1 inch) until the locking mechanism disengages.
- Slowly guide the screen upwards. Do not release the cord abruptly, as this can cause the screen to retract too quickly and potentially damage the mechanism or the screen surface.

6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your projection screen.
- Cleaning the Screen Surface: The screen surface can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Use only water; avoid detergents, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the screen material. Gently wipe the surface without applying excessive pressure.
- Casing Cleaning: The metal casing can be wiped clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, retract the screen fully into its casing to protect the surface from dust and damage.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your projection screen, consider the following common solutions:
- Screen does not lock: Ensure you are pulling the screen down slightly past the desired position and then releasing it slowly. The locking mechanism requires a slight upward movement to engage.
- Screen does not retract smoothly: Gently pull the screen down a short distance to disengage the lock, then guide it up slowly. Do not force the retraction. If the issue persists, check for any obstructions in the mechanism.
- Wrinkles or creases on screen: Minor wrinkles may naturally smooth out over time with use. Avoid folding or creasing the screen during handling or installation.
