5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your NERF blaster.
- Cleaning: Wipe the blaster with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust and dirt. Do not use water or cleaning solutions, as this can damage electronic components.
- Dart Care: Use only official NERF darts. Inspect darts regularly for damage (e.g., bent tips, torn foam). Damaged darts can affect performance and potentially jam the blaster. Replace worn-out darts.
- Storage: Store the blaster in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if the blaster will not be used for an extended period to prevent battery leakage.
- Avoid Modification: Do not attempt to modify the blaster or darts. Modifications can compromise safety, reduce performance, and void any potential warranty.
