2. Safety Information
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installing or servicing. All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections, consult a qualified electrician.
- Do not install in locations where the operating temperature exceeds the fixture's rated temperature.
- Ensure all wiring is properly secured and insulated.

3. Package Contents

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Turn Off Power: Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker or fuse box before starting installation.
- Cut Hole: Cut a 4-1/4 inch diameter hole in the ceiling at the desired location. Ensure there is at least 2 inches of clearance above the ceiling for the fixture and junction box.
- Open Junction Box: Open the cover of the provided junction box. Remove the appropriate knockout(s) for your electrical supply cable.
- Wire Connections: Insert the electrical supply cable into the junction box through the knockout. Connect the wires using the provided wire nuts:
- Connect the black wire from the supply to the black wire of the junction box.
- Connect the white wire from the supply to the white wire of the junction box.
- Connect the ground wire from the supply to the green wire of the junction box.
- Close Junction Box: Securely close the junction box cover.
- Connect Downlight: Connect the cable from the LED downlight to the cable extending from the junction box. Ensure the connectors click securely into place.
- Insert Junction Box: Carefully push the wired junction box through the cut-out hole into the ceiling.
- Insert Downlight: Push the spring clips on the LED downlight upwards. Insert the downlight into the ceiling hole. Release the clips to secure the fixture flush against the ceiling.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Color Temperature Selection (CCT)
Your LUXRITE recessed light features a selectable color temperature switch located inside the junction box. Before closing the junction box during installation, or by carefully opening it if already installed, you can choose from three color temperatures:
- 3000K (Soft White): A warm, inviting light suitable for living rooms and bedrooms.
- 4000K (Cool White): A neutral, balanced light ideal for kitchens, offices, and task lighting.
- 5000K (Bright White): A crisp, energetic light often used in utility areas, garages, or for maximum brightness.
Simply slide the switch to your desired color temperature setting. Once set, close the junction box.

5.2 Dimming Functionality
