  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the charging cable from its packaging.
  2. Initial Inspection: Visually inspect the entire length of the cable and both connectors (Type 2 and Type 1) for any signs of damage, kinks, or foreign objects. Ensure the silver-plated contacts are clean and free from debris.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to safely and effectively charge your electric vehicle:

  1. Prepare the Charging Station: Ensure the charging station is active and ready for use. Follow the station's instructions if necessary.
  2. Connect to Charging Station (Type 2): Take the Type 2 connector (the larger, rounder one) and firmly insert it into the corresponding port on the charging station. Ensure it clicks into place.
  3. Connect to Vehicle (Type 1): Take the Type 1 connector (the smaller, D-shaped one) and firmly insert it into the charging port on your electric vehicle. Ensure it clicks into place.
  4. Initiate Charging: The cable supports bi-directional communication. A self-test will be performed between the vehicle and the charger to ensure proper connection. Once the self-test is complete and successful, the charging process will begin automatically or require activation via the charging station's interface or your vehicle's system. The mechanical lock will engage, securing the cable during charging.
  5. Monitor Charging: Observe the charging status indicators on your vehicle's dashboard or the charging station.
  6. Disconnect After Charging: Once charging is complete, first disconnect the Type 1 charging cable from your vehicle's port. This is crucial for safety and proper operation.
  7. Disconnect from Charging Station: After disconnecting from the vehicle, then disconnect the Type 2 cable from the charging station.
  8. Store Cable: Neatly coil the cable and store it in a safe, dry place.

  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the cable for cuts, abrasions, or damage to the insulation. Check connectors for bent pins, corrosion, or cracks. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately.
  • Storage: Coil the cable loosely and store it in a clean, dry environment, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and heavy objects that could crush or damage it.
