4. Setup and Installation
The LEONLITE hardscape lights offer versatile installation options to suit various outdoor structures.
4.1 Installation Methods
These lights support both recessed and surface mount installations.
- Recessed Mounting: Ideal for new construction or when integrating lights between retaining wall blocks or under capstones. The detachable mounting plate is designed to be placed between blocks during construction.

4.2 Wiring
Connect the low voltage wires from the hardscape lights to a compatible 12-24V AC/DC landscape lighting transformer (not included). Use the provided waterproof wire nuts for secure and weather-resistant connections.
Wiring can be done in various configurations:
- Daisy Chain: Fixtures connected in series.
- T-Method: Transformer connects to a fixture in the middle.
- Hub Method: Each fixture connects to a central hub.

Figure 5: Wiring Configurations
Ensure the transformer's wattage capacity is sufficient for the total wattage of all connected lights. Each fixture has a maximum wattage of 5W (selectable). For example, if using 8 lights at 5W each, a transformer with a minimum rating of 40 watts (at least 80% of the transformer's capacity for the load) is recommended.

4.3 Wattage Selection
The lights feature a 3-wattage selectable switch (3W, 4W, 5W) to customize brightness. This switch is accessible during installation, allowing you to set the desired light output for your specific application.
