1. Introduction

The REVIX Wrist Ice Pack Wrap is designed to provide targeted cold and compression therapy for the wrist and hand. This reusable gel ice pack features a dual-sided design with a soft plush side for gentle application and a durable nylon side for more intensive cold therapy. It is ideal for managing discomfort from daily activities, sports, and various hand and wrist conditions, promoting relaxation and supporting recovery.

3. Indications for Use

The REVIX Wrist Ice Pack Wrap is intended for temporary relief of discomfort associated with:

4. Safety Information and Warnings

• Do not use directly on broken skin, open wounds, severe swelling, or sensitive skin.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• If the pack tears or breaks, discard it immediately.
• Apply only as directed. Consult a physician if extended use is needed.
• Do not use the ice pack for longer than 20 minutes per application. Prolonged use can cause frostbite. Discontinue use if a skin reaction occurs.

5. Setup and Preparation

1. For Cold Therapy: Place the gel pack in the freezer for at least 2-4 hours or until it reaches the desired coldness. Store the gel pack in the freezer with the included plastic bag to keep it ready for use.
2. For Hot Therapy: Place the gel pack in a microwave. Microwave for 10-15 seconds. Check the temperature; if not warm enough, adjust placement and microwave for additional 10-second intervals until desired warmth is achieved.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Cold Application

1. Remove the chilled ice pack from its packaging.
2. Open the elastic Neoprene straps of the wrap.
3. Insert your thumb through the designated thumb hole.
4. Wrap the ice pack around the affected wrist and hand area.
5. Secure the ice pack with the Neoprene straps, adjusting the compression for a comfortable and snug fit.
6. Apply cold therapy for up to 20 minutes. For initial application, use the soft plush side against the skin for approximately 10 minutes to gradually adapt to the cold. For more intensive cold, flip to the nylon side.
7. Remove the ice pack after 20 minutes. Reapply as necessary, allowing a break of 2-4 hours between applications.

6.2 Hot Application

1. Heat the gel pack as described in the 'Setup and Preparation' section.
2. Carefully remove the warmed gel pack from the microwave.
3. Insert your thumb through the designated thumb hole.
4. Wrap the warmed pack around the affected wrist and hand area.
5. Secure the pack with the Neoprene straps, adjusting for comfort.
6. Apply heat therapy for a comfortable duration, typically not exceeding 20 minutes.
7. Monitor skin for any signs of discomfort or burns. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

7. Care and Maintenance

• After each use, clean the exterior of the wrap with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water.
• Store the gel pack in the freezer, preferably within the provided plastic bag, to maintain hygiene and ensure it is ready for future cold therapy applications.
• Inspect the wrap regularly for any signs of wear, tear, or gel leakage. Discard immediately if any damage is observed.
