Battery Installation

The L336 remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
  2. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

Note: If the remote cannot learn or the signal light flashes erratically, replace the batteries with new ones.

Learning Function (Programming the Remote)

The L336 remote learns functions directly from your original IR remote controls. Ensure your original remote is functional and uses infrared signals.

  1. Enter Learning Mode: Press and hold the desired equipment key (e.g., TV, VCR, SAT) on the L336 remote until the indicator light illuminates steadily. Then release the key.
  2. Position Remotes: Place the L336 remote and your original remote control head-to-head, approximately 1 inch apart.
  3. Initiate Learning: On your original remote, press the key you wish to program (e.g., Power, Volume Up). The indicator light on the L336 remote will flash quickly, indicating it has received the signal.
  4. Assign Function: Immediately press the corresponding key on the L336 remote where you want to store this function. The indicator light on the L336 will turn solid, confirming the function has been learned.
  5. Repeat for More Keys: Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all other keys you wish to learn for that device.
  6. Exit Learning Mode: Press the same equipment key (e.g., TV) again to exit learning mode. The indicator light will turn off.

Important: The L336 can only learn from functional IR original remotes. It does not support RF (Radio Frequency) remotes.
