2.2 Initial Connection

1. Place the charger on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
2. Connect the appropriate power cable (AC or DC) to the charger's input port.
3. If using AC power, plug the AC cable into a wall outlet (100-240V). If using DC power, connect the DC cable to a compatible power source (11-18V).
4. Turn on the charger using the integrated power switch. The touch screen will illuminate.
5. Connect your battery to the appropriate charging port (CH1 or CH2) using the provided charging cables and connectors. Ensure correct polarity.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Touch Screen Interface

The HTRC T400 Pro features a user-friendly touch screen. Navigate through menus and settings by tapping on the screen. The main display shows real-time charging data, including voltage, current, and elapsed time.

3.2 Selecting Battery Type and Mode

1. After powering on, select the desired charging channel (CH1 or CH2) using the 'Switch CH' button or by tapping the corresponding channel on the screen.
2. On the selected channel's screen, tap to enter the battery type selection menu. Choose the correct battery chemistry (e.g., LiPo, NiMH, Pb) that matches your connected battery. Important: Always select the correct battery type to prevent damage to the battery or charger.
3. Once the battery type is selected, choose the desired operating mode. Available modes vary by battery type:
• LiPo/Lilon/LiFe/LiHV: Balance Charge, Charge, Storage, Discharge.
• NiMH/NiCd: Charge, Discharge, Cycle.
• PB: Charge, Discharge, Trickle.
4. Adjust charging parameters such as charge current (0.1-12A) and discharge current (0.1-2A) as needed. The charger can automatically recognize LiPo cell count.
5. Press the 'Start/Stop' button for the selected channel to begin the operation. The screen will display the charging progress graphically.
6. To stop an operation, press the 'Start/Stop' button again. The charger will automatically stop charging when the battery is full.

3.3 Dual Channel Operation

The T400 Pro allows simultaneous charging of two different batteries. Follow the steps above for each channel independently. Ensure that you do not attempt to charge two different batteries on the same channel at the same time.
