Setup & Installation
Tools Required (Not Included):
- Adjustable Wrench
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Plumber's Putty or Silicone Sealant
- Flashlight
- Bucket and Towel
Pre-Installation:
- Turn off the water supply to the sink at the shut-off valves.
- Remove the old faucet if applicable. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly.
- Ensure the mounting hole(s) on your sink or countertop meet the required dimensions (1.30"-1.38").
Installation Steps:
- Install Deck Plate (Optional for 3-Hole Sinks): If your sink has three holes, place the deck plate over the holes with the rubber gasket underneath to create a seal.
- Mount the Faucet: Insert the faucet body through the center hole (or deck plate hole). Ensure the faucet is properly oriented.
- Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, thread the mounting hardware (washer and nut) onto the faucet shank. Tighten securely with an adjustable wrench, ensuring the faucet is stable.
- Connect Water Supply Lines: Attach the hot and cold water supply hoses to the corresponding water supply valves. The hoses are typically marked with red for hot and blue for cold. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for a quarter turn more. Do not overtighten.
- Connect Sprayer Hose: Connect the pull-down sprayer hose to the quick-connect fitting on the main faucet body. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Install Weight: Attach the weight to the pull-down sprayer hose, typically about 6-8 inches below the sink deck, to ensure smooth retraction of the sprayer.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten the connections slightly until they stop.

Operating Instructions
Single Handle Control:
The single handle controls both water flow and temperature. Lift the handle to turn on the water and adjust the flow. Move the handle left for hot water and right for cold water.
Pull-Down Sprayer Functions:
The pull-down sprayer offers three distinct spray settings for versatile use:
- Stream: Ideal for filling pots and general washing.
- Spray: Provides a wider, more powerful spray for rinsing dishes and cleaning the sink.
- Pause: Temporarily stops water flow without turning off the main handle, useful for moving the sprayer between tasks or preventing splashes.
Switch between modes using the buttons located on the sprayer head. The sprayer head also features 360° rotation for full sink coverage.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Faucet:
The faucet features a five-layer nanotechnology finish designed to resist fingerprints and spots. To maintain its appearance, clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
Drip-Free Ceramic Cartridge:
Your FORIOUS faucet is equipped with a high-quality drip-free ceramic cartridge, designed for long-lasting performance (up to 5 million uses). No special maintenance is typically required for the cartridge.

|---|---|---|
| Low Water Flow | Clogged aerator; partially closed shut-off valve. | Remove and clean the aerator. Ensure shut-off valves are fully open. |
| Leaking from Faucet Base | Loose mounting nut; improper sealing. | Tighten the mounting nut from underneath the sink. Apply plumber's putty or silicone if necessary. |
| Leaking from Sprayer Head | Loose connection; damaged O-ring. | Ensure sprayer hose is securely connected. Check for damaged O-rings and replace if needed. |
| Water Temperature Issues | Incorrect hot/cold line connection; water heater issue. | Verify hot and cold lines are connected correctly. Check your water heater settings. |
