1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use the hair dryer while bathing or near water.
• Always unplug the appliance immediately after using.
• Keep the power plug and cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
• Do not rinse or submerge the hair dryer in water.
• This hair dryer is equipped with an ALCI safety plug (US only) and an overheat protection function that automatically shuts off the device if the temperature becomes too high.
• To prevent hair from being sucked into the back cover of the hair dryer, maintain a certain distance during use. Refer to the image below for correct usage distance.

5. Setup

Attaching/Detaching Nozzles

The concentrator nozzle and diffuser attach magnetically to the front of the hairdryer. Simply align the attachment with the front of the dryer and it will snap into place. To remove, gently pull the attachment away from the dryer.

6. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Ensure the switch is set to the "0" position before plugging the unit into a 125V 60Hz power outlet. Slide the main switch to position "1" to turn on the dryer.
2. Adjusting Heat Settings: Use the heat setting slider (Cool/Warm/Hot) to select your desired temperature.
3. Adjusting Wind Speed: Use the roller-type adjustment dial to control the wind speed. This allows for infinite speed settings to suit your styling needs.
4. Styling with Attachments:
   • Concentrator Nozzle: Ideal for precision styling on straight, smooth hair. Direct the airflow to specific sections for targeted drying.
   • Diffuser: Designed to enhance natural curls and texture. Use it by gently cupping sections of hair in the diffuser and lifting towards the scalp.
5. General Usage Tips:
   • Do not touch the air nozzle during use to prevent burns.
   • Keep hair away from the air inlets to prevent it from being sucked in.
   • If the hair dryer stops for any reason, turn it off at once and let it cool down.

7. Maintenance

Cleaning the Air Filter

The CONFU Ionic Blow Dryer features a removable back cover for easy cleaning of the air filter. Regularly clean the filter to ensure proper airflow and maintain optimal performance.

1. Ensure the hair dryer is unplugged and completely cool.
2. Gently twist the back cover to unlock and remove it.
3. Remove any accumulated lint, dust, or hair from the filter screen. A small brush can be used for this purpose.
4. Once clean, reattach the back cover by aligning it and twisting to lock it in place.

8. Troubleshooting

If your hair dryer experiences any issues, please refer to the following:

• Device Not Turning On: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet and the main switch is in the "1" position. Check the ALCI safety plug for any tripped circuits (press the reset button if necessary).
• Overheating/Auto-Shutoff: The hair dryer has an automatic overheat protection function. If it shuts off, unplug it immediately and allow it to cool down for several minutes before attempting to use it again. Ensure the air inlets and filter are clean and unobstructed.
• Weak Airflow: Check if the air filter is clogged with lint or hair. Clean the filter as described in the Maintenance section.
