4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Power Supply Box Installation
The power supply box houses the power unit and serves as a cabinet for the control board. Mount it securely in a suitable location.

4.2. Access Control Panel Mounting
Install the 4-door Wiegand access control panel within the power supply box or a secure enclosure. Ensure proper ventilation.

4.3. Reader and Exit Button Placement
Mount the RFID Keypad/PIN Pad Readers and Infrared Exit Buttons at each door. The exit buttons are designed for standard US electrical boxes.

4.4. Wiring
Connect all components (power supply, control panel, readers, exit buttons, and electric locks) according to the provided wiring diagram. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized.
4.5. Software Installation
Install the management software on a Windows-based computer. This software is essential for system configuration and user management. Note: Mac operating systems are not supported.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Accessing Doors
- RFID Card/Key Fob: Present your registered RFID card or key fob to the reader. The door will unlock if access is authorized.
- PIN Entry: Enter your registered PIN on the keypad. The door will unlock if access is authorized.
- Card + PIN: Present your RFID card/key fob, then enter your PIN on the keypad. This method provides an additional layer of security.

5.2. Exiting Doors
Press the infrared exit button located near the door to unlock it for egress.
5.3. Mobile App Operation
Download and install the MENGQI-CONTROL mobile application on your iOS or Android smartphone. Follow the app's instructions to connect to your access control system and remotely open doors.

The Windows-based management software is the central tool for configuring and managing your access control system. It allows you to:
- Add, modify, and delete user accounts.
