Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your INGCO Air Impact Wrench 1/2" Drive (AIW12562). Please read this manual thoroughly before using the tool to ensure proper function and to prevent injury or damage.
Safety Information
Always observe basic safety precautions when using power tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and appropriate gloves when operating the impact wrench.
- Work Area: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Air Supply: Ensure the air compressor is properly maintained and set to the correct pressure (6.2 bar / 90 psi). Use clean, dry air.
- Tool Condition: Inspect the tool for damage before each use. Do not operate if damaged.
- Secure Workpiece: Always secure the workpiece before applying torque.
- Avoid Over-tightening: Do not over-tighten fasteners. Use a torque wrench for final tightening where precise torque is required.

Setup
- Air Supply Connection:
- Ensure your air compressor is off and depressurized.
- Attach a quick-connect fitting (if not already installed) to the 1/4" air inlet on the wrench.
- Connect a 3/8" air hose from your compressor to the wrench. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leaks.
- Lubrication:
- Before first use and daily thereafter, add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet. This lubricates the internal components and extends tool life.
- Socket Attachment:
- Select the appropriate 1/2" drive impact socket for your application.
- Push the socket firmly onto the square drive until it locks into place.

Maintenance
- Daily Lubrication: Add 5-10 drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet before each use. This is crucial for the longevity of the tool's internal components.
- Air Filter: Regularly check and clean the air filter on your compressor to ensure clean air supply to the tool.
- Cleaning: Keep the tool clean and free from debris. Wipe down the exterior with a clean cloth. Do not use harsh solvents.
- Storage: Store the impact wrench in a dry, clean environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect from air supply when not in use.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tool not operating or low power | Low air pressure; Insufficient lubrication; Air leaks; Clogged air inlet. | Check compressor pressure (should be 90 psi); Add pneumatic tool oil; Check hose connections for leaks; Clean air inlet. |
| Excessive vibration | Worn internal parts; Loose socket. | Contact qualified service personnel; Ensure socket is securely attached. |
| Air leaking from tool | Loose fittings; Damaged O-rings/seals. | Tighten fittings; Contact qualified service personnel for seal replacement. |
