Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To keep your blaster in optimal condition:
- Wipe the blaster with a clean, damp cloth to remove dust and debris.
- Do not submerge the blaster in water or use harsh cleaning agents.
- Ensure the blaster is dry before storing.
2. Dart Care
To ensure consistent performance, inspect darts regularly:
- Discard any darts that are bent, torn, or damaged, as they may affect blaster performance or cause jams.
- Store darts in a clean, dry place to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
- Blaster not firing or motor not spinning:
Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace with fresh C alkaline batteries if needed. Ensure the acceleration button is fully pressed before pulling the trigger. - Darts jamming:
Ensure only official Nerf Elite darts are used. Check darts for damage; replace any bent or torn darts. Make sure the 18-dart clip is fully inserted. If a dart is jammed, remove the clip, clear the jam from the access door (if available) or barrel, and reinsert the clip. - Reduced firing range or power:
This often indicates low battery power. Replace all 4 C alkaline batteries with new ones. Damaged darts can also reduce performance.
