Controls and Functions:

  1. LCD Display: Shows track number, time, playback mode, and sound effects.
  2. DIR: Selects playlist in MP3 mode.
  3. ASP: Activates Anti-shock protection function.
  4. Previous / Back: Skips to the previous track or rewinds the current track.
  5. Next / Forward: Skips to the next track or fast-forwards the current track.
  6. Power On / Play / Pause: Powers the device on, plays, or pauses playback.
  7. MODE: Chooses playback styles (e.g., repeat all, repeat one, shuffle).
  8. Sound Effects: Selects sound effects (BS, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classic).
  9. Pause / Power Off: Pauses playback with a single press; powers off with a double press.
  10. Cell Box: Battery compartment (on the underside).
  11. HOLD Switch: Located on the underside. When in "HOLD" position, all buttons are locked, and the player cannot be powered on.

Setup

Powering the Device:

Connecting Headphones:

Plug the stereo headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack on the side of the CD player.

Operating Instructions

Inserting a Disc:

Gently slide the "OPEN" switch on the side of the player to open the disc cover. Place your CD, CD-R, CD-RW, or MP3 disc onto the spindle, ensuring it is seated correctly. Close the disc cover firmly until it clicks.

Basic Playback:

Anti-Shock Protection (ASP):

The HOTT CD611 features Anti-Shock Protection to prevent interruptions during movement. It provides up to 45 seconds of anti-skip protection for standard CDs and 120 seconds for MP3 CDs. Press the ASP button to activate this feature.

Enhance your listening experience with 5 built-in sound effects. Press the Sound Effects button repeatedly to cycle through:

Connectivity

Connecting to External Speakers or Car Audio:

The HOTT CD611 can be connected to external speakers or a car's audio system using the included 3.5mm AUX audio cable.

  1. Locate the 3.5mm AUX input on your external speaker or car audio system.
  2. Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable to the headphone jack of the HOTT CD611.

  • Adjust the volume control.
  • Check if the disc is playing (LCD display).
Disc not recognized.
  • Disc is inserted incorrectly.
  • Disc format is not supported.
  • Disc is severely damaged.
  • Re-insert the disc correctly.
  • Ensure the disc is CD, MP3, CD-RW, or CD-R format (DVDs are not supported).
  • Try a different disc.
