Low Carb Rice Cooking (3-Stage Process: Cook, Drain, Steam)
This unique feature helps reduce carbohydrate content by draining excess starch during the cooking process.
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. Rinse the rice thoroughly.
- Place Rice in Steaming Basket: Put the rinsed rice into the low carb steaming basket.
- Add Water to Inner Pot: Place the steaming basket with rice into the inner pot. Add water to the inner pot, ensuring the water level is below the top of the steaming basket. The water level markings for low carb cooking may be different; consult the specific markings or recipe.
- Place Inner Pot: Insert the inner pot with the steaming basket into the main rice cooker unit.
- Close Lid: Close the lid securely.
- Select Low Carb Function: Plug in the appliance and select the "Low Carb" or "Steam Rice" function. The cooker will automatically perform the 3 stages:
- Cook: Initial cooking phase.
- Drain: Excess starchy water is drained into the outer pot.
- Steam: Final steaming phase to perfect the rice texture.
- Serve: Once cooking is complete and the cooker switches to "Keep Warm", allow the rice to rest for a few minutes. Carefully remove the steaming basket and serve the low carb rice.
Steaming Other Foods
The low carb steaming basket can also be used to steam vegetables, fish, or other foods.
- Add Water: Pour water into the inner pot (do not exceed the maximum fill line).
- Prepare Food: Place the food to be steamed into the low carb steaming basket.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your rice cooker. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Inner Pot and Steaming Basket: Wash these parts with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scrubbers, as they can damage the non-stick coating.
