3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Battery

The TY-ASC65 is equipped with a built-in 12 Volt 4Ah rechargeable battery. Before initial use, fully charge the speaker for optimal performance.

  1. Connect the power adapter to the speaker's power input port.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. The charge indicator light on the control panel will illuminate, typically red during charging and turning blue or off when fully charged.

3.2. Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch on the top control panel.

4. Operation

4.1. Bluetooth Pairing

Connect your wireless device to the speaker via Bluetooth.

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. The display will show "bt" and the Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "TY-ASC65" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will become solid, and a confirmation tone may sound.

4.2. FM Stereo Radio

Enjoy your favorite radio stations with the built-in FM tuner.

  1. Press the FUNCTION/O button to switch to FM radio mode. The display will show the frequency.
  2. Extend the wire antenna for better reception.
  3. Press the PLAY/AUTO button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  4. Use the PREV/TUN- and NEXT/TUN+ buttons to navigate between saved stations or manually tune.

4.3. USB Playback

Play music directly from a USB flash drive.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB input port (5V=200mA).
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback. If not, press the FUNCTION/O button to select USB mode.
  3. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, PREV, and NEXT buttons to control playback.

4.4. Microphone Usage (Karaoke)

Connect microphones for karaoke or public address.

  • Plug up to two microphones into the MIC 1 and MIC 2 input jacks.
  • Adjust the microphone volume using the MIC VOL knob.
  • Use the ECHO knob to add an echo effect to the microphone audio.

4.5. LED Lights

Control the colorful LED lights that flash to the beat of the music.

  • Press the LIGHT button to cycle through different light modes or turn the lights off.

4.6. Bass and EQ Adjustment

Customize your audio output.

  • Press the BASS button to toggle the bass boost feature on or off.
  • Press the EQ button to cycle through preset equalizer modes (e.g., Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Flat).
