Important Considerations
- Neutral Wire Required: Ensure your electrical box has a neutral wire (typically white) before purchasing. This switch does NOT support 3-way or dimmer setups.
- Single Pole Setup: This smart switch works in a single pole setup only. It is compatible with various non-smart bulbs such as LED (150W max), CFL (150W max), and INC (400W max). Do not use for smart bulbs.
- Wi-Fi Requirement: The smart switch works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only and does NOT support 5GHz Wi-Fi. No hub is required.
Step-by-Step Installation
- Remove the Existing Switch: Turn off the power at the circuit breaker. Remove the faceplate and unscrew the existing switch from the electrical box.

The Meross switch comes with pre-attached wire bundles for easy connection.

Remote and Voice Control
Control your lights from anywhere with internet access using the Meross app. The switch is compatible with Apple HomeKit, Apple Watch, Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, and SmartThings, allowing for convenient voice commands.
Schedule and Timer Setting
The Meross light switch supports automatic turn on/off at specified times or according to Sunrise/Sunset. This feature helps save energy by ensuring lights are not left on unnecessarily. Schedules can still perform even if the internet is down.
Offline Control & Superfast Local Control
When the internet is down, you can still control your devices within your home Wi-Fi network via the Meross app. This ensures continuous functionality. The switch also offers millisecond response times for local control when you are at home.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the switch. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents that could damage the surface.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it is disconnected from power and kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Safety: Always ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker before performing any cleaning or maintenance on the switch.
Troubleshooting
