Introduction

The FULAIM MX11 Camcorder Microphone utilizes professional UHF wireless radio frequency technology and an advanced electrical circuit design. Receiver (RX)

Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Both the receiver and transmitter units are equipped with built-in rechargeable lithium polymer batteries. To charge, connect the provided USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on each unit and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). A full charge typically takes 3-5 hours and provides 7-10 hours of working time.

2. Connecting the Lavalier Microphone

Plug the 3.5mm connector of the lavalier microphone into the MIC port on the transmitter unit. Ensure the connection is secure.

3. Connecting to a Recording Device

The FULAIM MX11 is designed for smart recognition of various recording devices.

• For DSLR Cameras/Camcorders: Use the provided 3.5mm TRS to TRS cable. Connect one end to the OUT port of the receiver and the other end to the microphone input port of your camera/camcorder.
• For Smartphones (iPhone, Android): Use the provided 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cable. Connect the TRS end to the OUT port of the receiver and the TRRS end to the 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack of your smartphone.
• Important Note for Smartphones: If your smartphone does not have a 3.5mm jack (e.g., newer iPhones, USB-C Android phones), you will need a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter or a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter (not included). Please ensure you have the correct adapter for your device.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on both the transmitter and receiver units until their respective screens illuminate. To power off, press and hold the power button again.

2. Automatic Pairing

The FULAIM MX11 system utilizes UHF high-frequency digital wireless signal technology for automatic connection. Once both units are powered on, they should automatically pair. The display screens will show a stable signal indicator when connected.

3. Adjusting Volume

The transmitter supports up to 20 levels of electronic volume control. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the transmitter to adjust the microphone input volume as needed for your recording environment.

4. Real-time Audio Monitoring

The receiver features a dedicated 3.5mm headphone monitoring port. Connect earphones or headphones to this port to monitor the recording effect in real-time. This allows for synchronous detection of audio input and helps identify any abnormalities during recording, enabling manual adjustment of reception volume and effective noise reduction.

5. UHF Anti-Interference Technology

The FULAIM MX11 utilizes UHF technology, which provides a stable and strong anti-interference ability, ensuring clear audio transmission even in environments with other wireless signals.

6. Transmission Range

The FULAIM MX11 offers a maximum transmission range of up to 196 feet (approximately 60 meters) in open, unobstructed environments. The effective range may be reduced when obstacles such as walls or dense foliage are present between the transmitter and receiver.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the units. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the microphone system in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided carrying case for protection during transport and storage.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the batteries frequently. If storing for an extended period, charge the batteries to approximately 50% every few months.
• Avoid Moisture: Do not expose the units to water or high humidity, as this can damage the internal electronics.

Troubleshooting

No Sound Output

• Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on and fully charged.
• Verify that the lavalier microphone is securely plugged into the transmitter's MIC port.
• Check that the correct audio cable (TRS for cameras, TRRS for smartphones) is used and securely connected between the receiver's OUT port and your recording device's input.
• Confirm that the volume levels on both the transmitter and your recording device are adequately set.
• If using a smartphone without a 3.5mm jack, ensure your adapter is functional and correctly connected.

Interference or Poor Sound Quality

• Ensure there are no major obstructions between the transmitter and receiver.
• Move away from other wireless devices or strong electromagnetic fields that might cause interference.
• Check the battery levels; low battery can affect signal stability.

Short Transmission Range

• Ensure the antenna on the transmitter is fully extended and positioned correctly.
• Minimize physical obstructions between the transmitter and receiver.
• Operating in an open outdoor environment will yield the best range.
