1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV monitor. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper and safe operation.
The ASUS ProArt PA278QV is a 27-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) IPS monitor designed for professional creative work. It features 100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709 wide color gamut, and is Calman Verified with factory calibration for excellent Delta E < 2 color accuracy. The monitor includes ASUS-exclusive ProArt Preset and ProArt Palette for extensive color parameter adjustments. Its ergonomic stand allows for tilt, pivot, swivel, and height adjustments, and it incorporates Eye Care Technology to minimize eye fatigue.

3. Setup Guide
3.1 Assembling the Monitor Stand
- Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
- Attach the stand base to the stand neck, securing it with the captive screw.
- Align the stand assembly with the VESA mounting holes on the back of the monitor.
- Secure the stand to the monitor. Ensure it clicks into place or is fastened securely.

3.2 Connecting Cables
Connect the necessary cables to the corresponding ports on the back of the monitor and your computer.
- Power Cable: Connect one end to the monitor's power input and the other to a power outlet.
- Video Cable: Choose one of the following options for video input:
- DisplayPort: Connect the DisplayPort cable from your computer's DisplayPort output to the monitor's DisplayPort input.
- HDMI: Connect the HDMI cable from your computer's HDMI output to one of the monitor's HDMI inputs.
- Mini DisplayPort: Connect the Mini DisplayPort cable from your computer's Mini DisplayPort output to the monitor's Mini DisplayPort input.
- DVI-D: Connect the DVI-D cable from your computer's DVI-D output to the monitor's DVI-D input.
- USB 3.0 Upstream Cable: To enable the monitor's built-in USB 3.0 hub, connect the USB 3.0 upstream cable from your computer's USB port to the monitor's USB upstream port.
- Audio Cable: If using the monitor's audio input, connect the audio cable from your computer's audio output to the monitor's Audio-in port.
- Earphone Jack: For private listening, connect headphones to the earphone jack.

3.3 Powering On
Press the power button located on the front-right underside of the monitor to turn it on. Ensure your computer is also powered on.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 On-Screen Display (OSD) Navigation
The monitor features intuitive buttons on the front-right underside for navigating the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. These buttons allow you to adjust various settings such as brightness, contrast, color modes, and input selection.

4.2 Color Accuracy and Presets
The ProArt Display PA278QV is factory pre-calibrated and Calman Verified to ensure industry-leading Delta E < 2 color accuracy. It supports 100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709 color gamuts for true-to-life color reproduction.

Utilize the ASUS-exclusive ProArt Preset and ProArt Palette features to quickly adjust color parameters for different creative workflows. ProArt Preset includes multiple modes for quick color gamut adjustments, while ProArt Palette allows for detailed customization.

4.3 Ergonomic Adjustments
The monitor's ergonomic stand provides extensive adjustability for optimal viewing comfort and productivity:
- Height Adjustment: Adjust the monitor height from 0 to 150 mm.
- Swivel: Swivel the monitor ±90° left or right.
- Pivot: Pivot the monitor ±90° for portrait or landscape orientation.
- Tilt: Tilt the monitor from +35° to -5°.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Monitor
- Always unplug the monitor from the power outlet before cleaning.
