4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum cleaner before first use:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Attaching Wheels: Insert the caster wheels into the designated slots on the base of the vacuum tank until they click securely into place.
- Securing Motor Head: Place the motor head onto the stainless steel tank, ensuring it aligns correctly. Secure it firmly with the side latches.
- Connecting Hose: Insert the flexible hose into the suction inlet on the tank. Twist to secure if applicable.
- Attaching Extension Tubes and Nozzle: Connect the plastic extension tubes to the flexible hose. Then, attach the desired cleaning nozzle (e.g., floor brush, crevice tool) to the end of the extension tubes.
- Filter Installation:
- For dry vacuuming, ensure the HEPA filter is correctly installed over the motor cage inside the tank.
- For wet vacuuming, the HEPA filter must be removed. Operating with the HEPA filter during wet pickup can damage the filter and the motor. Ensure no filter is present or an appropriate wet filter (if supplied) is installed.
5. Operating Instructions
Dry Vacuuming
- Ensure the HEPA filter is properly installed for dry use.
- Connect the desired accessories (extension tubes, floor brush, crevice tool).
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V, 50/60Hz).
- Turn the power switch to the "ON" position.
- Begin vacuuming dry debris.
- When finished, turn the power switch to "OFF" and unplug the unit from the power outlet.
Wet Vacuuming (Liquid Pickup)
- Important: Remove the HEPA filter before wet vacuuming. Operating with the HEPA filter during wet pickup can damage the filter and the motor.
- Connect the desired accessories.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the power switch to the "ON" position.
- Begin vacuuming liquids. The vacuum has a 30-liter capacity. Do not overfill.
- The vacuum is equipped with a float mechanism that will automatically shut off suction when the tank is full. When this occurs, turn off the vacuum, unplug it, and empty the tank immediately.
- When finished, turn the power switch to "OFF" and unplug the unit. Empty and clean the tank thoroughly.
6. Maintenance
Emptying the Tank
Regularly empty the tank to maintain optimal suction and prevent overflow.
- Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner from the power outlet.
- Release the side latches and carefully lift off the motor head.
- Dispose of collected dry debris or liquids responsibly.
- Clean the inside of the tank with water and mild detergent if necessary. Rinse thoroughly and ensure it is completely dry before reassembling.
Filter Cleaning and Replacement
The HEPA filter should be cleaned regularly and replaced when damaged or when suction power significantly decreases.
- Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
- Remove the motor head.
- Carefully remove the HEPA filter.
- Tap the filter gently to dislodge dry dust. For a more thorough clean, rinse the filter under running water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinstallation to prevent damage to the motor.
- Reinstall the clean, dry HEPA filter or replace it with a new one if necessary.
General Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.
