Setup and Installation
Installing your Trekassy E Track system is straightforward. The rails can be mounted horizontally or vertically on walls or floors of your vehicle or storage area. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound and capable of supporting the intended load.
Installation Steps:
- Plan Layout: Determine the optimal placement for your E-track rails based on the items you intend to secure. Consider the length of the rails and the spacing required for your tie-down points.
- Mark Drilling Points: Hold the E-track rail against the desired mounting surface. Use a pencil or marker to mark the locations for drilling through the pre-drilled holes on the rail.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit for your mounting surface (wood, metal, etc.), drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Ensure the holes are deep enough for your mounting hardware.
- Secure Rails: Align the E-track rail with the drilled holes. Use suitable mounting hardware (screws, bolts, nuts, washers - not included) to firmly attach the rail to the surface. Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely to prevent movement under load.
- Attach O-Ring Anchors: To attach an O-ring anchor or other E-track accessories, press the lever on the spring fitting end attachment. Insert the fitting into one of the slots on the E-track rail. Release the lever to lock the fitting securely into place. Tug on the anchor to confirm it is properly seated.

Operating and Usage
The Trekassy E Track system offers flexible and secure tie-down points for a wide range of applications.
General Usage:
- Cargo Tie-Down: Use the E-track rails and O-ring anchors with compatible tie-down straps (not included) to secure boxes, furniture, equipment, and other cargo. Ensure straps are routed to distribute tension evenly and prevent shifting during transit.
- Vehicle Securement: Ideal for securing ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, and other recreational vehicles. Attach appropriate tie-down straps to the O-ring anchors and secure them to the vehicle's frame or designated tie-down points.
- Warehouse and Garage Organization: Beyond transport, E-track rails can be used to organize tools, equipment, and other items in garages or warehouses, freeing up floor space and keeping items secure.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Trekassy E Track system, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the E-track rails and O-ring anchors for any signs of wear, damage, bending, or corrosion. Pay close attention to the slots and the spring mechanisms of the anchors.
- Cleaning: Clean the rails and anchors with a damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. For stubborn grime, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by thorough drying.
- Lubrication: While the galvanized steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, a light application of a rust-inhibiting lubricant on the O-ring anchor's moving parts (spring mechanism) can help maintain smooth operation, especially after exposure to moisture.
- Storage: If the system is not permanently installed, store components in a dry environment to prevent unnecessary exposure to elements.
- Replace Damaged Parts: Do not use any component that shows significant signs of damage or wear. Replace damaged rails or anchors immediately to maintain safety and system integrity.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your E Track system.
Issue: O-Ring Anchor does not lock securely into the E-Track rail.
- Possible Cause 1: Debris or obstruction in the E-track slot or on the anchor's fitting.
- Solution: Inspect the slot and the anchor fitting for any dirt, rust, or foreign objects. Clean thoroughly.
- Possible Cause 2: The spring mechanism on the O-ring anchor is stiff or damaged.
- Solution: Apply a small amount of lubricant to the spring mechanism. If the mechanism is visibly damaged or bent, replace the O-ring anchor.
Issue: E-Track Rail appears loose after installation.
- Possible Cause: Mounting hardware is not sufficiently tightened or is inadequate for the load.
- Solution: Re-tighten all mounting screws/bolts. If the issue persists, consider using larger or more robust fasteners, or adding washers to increase the bearing surface. Ensure the mounting surface itself is not compromised.
Issue: Rust or corrosion appearing on components.
- Possible Cause: Prolonged exposure to moisture or harsh chemicals, despite galvanized coating.
- Solution: Clean the affected areas and apply a rust-inhibiting primer and paint if necessary. For minor surface rust, a wire brush and rust converter can be used. Ensure components are dried thoroughly after exposure to moisture.
