1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SHIWOJIA 1080P HD 4G LTE PTZ Outdoor Security Camera. This camera is designed for outdoor surveillance, featuring 1080P HD resolution, 4G LTE connectivity, Pan/Tilt/Zoom functionality, two-way audio, PIR motion detection, and solar power with a rechargeable battery. Its IP67 weather-resistant design ensures reliable performance in various environmental conditions.

2. Safety Information

  • Ensure proper installation to prevent falls or damage.
  • Do not expose the camera to extreme temperatures outside its operating range.
  • Use only the specified power source and charging methods.
  • Keep the camera away from strong magnetic fields.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the camera yourself. Contact support if issues arise.
  • Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated for 4G functionality.

3. Setup

3.1 Battery and SIM Card Installation

Before initial use, ensure the rechargeable batteries are installed and fully charged. The camera requires 6 Lithium Ion batteries. If the batteries are in a protected state, remove them from the box and remove any insulating tabs before installation.

Insert an activated NANO SIM card into the designated slot. Ensure the SIM card has sufficient data for operation. The camera supports various carriers such as airtelwap, Vodanfone, Orange, movistar, yoigo, Euskaltel, MMS, etc.

3.2 App Installation and Connection

Download and install the UBOX application on your smartphone. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android systems.

  • Open the UBOX app.
  • Select the option to add a 4G device.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code located on the camera.
  • Ensure the camera's blue light is always on, indicating it's ready for connection.
  • If prompted, enter the APN name, username, and password provided by your SIM card operator. If the operator only provides the APN name, ignore the username and password fields.

Note: The camera is not compatible with any third-party software or NVR systems.

3.3 Mounting the Camera

The camera is designed for wall mounting. Choose a location that provides optimal surveillance coverage and receives adequate sunlight for the solar panel.

  • Securely attach the mounting bracket to a sturdy surface using the provided screws.
  • Attach the camera to the mounting bracket.
  • Adjust the camera's angle to achieve the desired viewing area.

4. Operation

4.1 Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ)

The camera offers a 360° panoramic view with 120° vertical tilt and 4X digital zoom. Use the UBOX app to remotely control the camera's movement and zoom in on specific areas.

4.2 1080P HD Night Vision

The camera provides 1920x1080p resolution for high-quality images and videos. It features 4 built-in IR LEDs and 2 white LED lights for enhanced night vision. When motion is detected, the white LEDs can illuminate the area, providing full-color night vision.

4.3 Two-Way Audio

Equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, the camera supports two-way audio communication. You can speak to visitors or deter intruders directly through the UBOX app, even when you are away from home.

4.4 PIR Motion Detection

The camera features PIR (Passive Infrared) motion detection. When enabled, the camera will send instant app notifications and email alerts upon detecting movement. You can customize motion detection zones within the app for precise monitoring.

4.5 Solar Power and Battery

The camera is powered by a rechargeable battery system, continuously charged by an integrated solar panel. This low-power consumption design eliminates the need for external power connections, making it ideal for remote outdoor installations.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear vision and efficient charging.
  • Battery Care: While solar-powered, ensure the camera receives sufficient sunlight. In prolonged periods of low light, consider manually charging the batteries via the USB port if necessary.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the UBOX app periodically for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • SIM Card: Monitor your SIM card data usage to prevent service interruptions.

6. Troubleshooting
