Product Overview
The BRESSER MyTime io NX wall clock is a sophisticated device that provides more than just accurate time. It features a DCF radio-controlled time signal for automatic time setting, including daylight saving time adjustments. This clock also displays indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, relative indoor humidity, and weather trend forecasts.
A wireless outdoor transmitter is included, capable of transmitting outdoor temperature data up to a range of 30 meters in open air. The clock is designed with a silent radio-controlled movement and a silent second hand, ensuring no disruptive ticking noise. Setup Guide
1. Unpacking and Contents
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the following items:
- BRESSER MyTime io NX Wall Clock
- Wireless Outdoor Sensor
- Instruction Manual (this document)
Note: Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately. The clock requires 3x AA batteries, and the outdoor sensor requires 2x AAA batteries.
2. Battery Installation
Proper battery installation is crucial for the clock's functionality.
- For the Wall Clock:
Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock. Insert 3x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover securely.

- For the Wireless Outdoor Sensor:
Open the battery compartment on the outdoor sensor. Insert 2x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity. Close the cover.
3. Initial Time Synchronization
Once batteries are installed in both the clock and the outdoor sensor, the clock will automatically attempt to receive the DCF radio time signal. This process may take several minutes. Ensure the clock is placed in an area with good signal reception, away from large metal objects or electronic devices that may cause interference.
The clock will automatically set the correct time and date, and adjust for daylight saving time (summer/winter time) changes.
4. Outdoor Sensor Placement
For accurate outdoor temperature readings, place the wireless outdoor sensor in a sheltered location outside. It should be protected from direct sunlight, rain, and extreme weather conditions. Ensure it is within the 30-meter transmission range of the main clock unit and has a clear line of sight if possible, to minimize signal obstruction.
Operating Instructions
The BRESSER MyTime io NX wall clock provides comprehensive environmental data in addition to precise timekeeping.

1. Display Information
The clock face features three integrated digital displays:
- Top Display: Shows relative indoor humidity (in percent) and a weather trend forecast icon (e.g., sun for clear, clouds for cloudy).
- Bottom Left Display: Indicates indoor temperature.
- Bottom Right Display: Shows outdoor temperature, received from the wireless sensor.
The main analog hands display the current time, which is automatically synchronized via the DCF signal.
2. Silent Movement
This clock is equipped with a silent radio-controlled movement and a silent second hand. This design eliminates the traditional "ticking" sound, making it ideal for quiet environments such as bedrooms, offices, or living areas where noise reduction is desired.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean the clock and sensor, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical agents, as these can damage the surfaces and electronic components. Avoid getting moisture into the clock or sensor units.
2. Battery Replacement
Replace batteries in both the clock and the outdoor sensor when the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning correctly. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time with new batteries of the same type. Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
3. Environmental Considerations
As stated, the BRESSER MyTime io NX wall clock is designed for indoor use only. Exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, high humidity, or water can damage the unit. The outdoor sensor should be placed in a sheltered outdoor location to protect it from direct weather elements while still allowing accurate temperature measurement.
