Introduction

Thank you for choosing the PPLEE Digital Dual Alarm Clock. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your new alarm clock. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and to maximize your product experience.

This alarm clock features a large LED display, dual alarms, adjustable volume and brightness, a built-in USB charging port, and battery backup for settings retention during power outages.

Setup

Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided USB cable to the alarm clock's power input port.
  2. Plug the power plug into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. The clock display will light up, indicating it is powered on.

Battery Backup

The alarm clock requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included) for battery backup. This feature retains time and alarm settings during a power outage and can trigger the alarm if power is lost.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm clock.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

Setting Time

  1. Press the SET TIME button once. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Use the HOUR button to adjust the hour.
  3. Press the MIN button to adjust the minute.
  4. Press SET TIME again to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Setting Alarms (Dual Alarms)

This clock allows you to set two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).

  1. Press the ALARM 1 button once. The Alarm 1 hour digits will flash.
  2. Use the HOUR button to adjust the Alarm 1 hour.
  3. Press the MIN button to adjust the Alarm 1 minute.
  4. Press ALARM 1 again to confirm and activate Alarm 1. The Alarm 1 indicator will appear on the display.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for ALARM 2 using the ALARM 2 button.

To turn off an alarm, press the corresponding ALARM OFF button. The alarm indicator will disappear from the display.

Adjusting Alarm Volume

The alarm volume can be adjusted to 5 different levels to suit your preference.

  1. While an alarm is sounding, or by pressing the ALARM PAUSE button, you can adjust the volume.
  2. Press the VOLUME button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 volume levels (LV1 to LV5).
  3. Select the desired volume level.

Adjusting Display Brightness (Dimmer)

The LED display brightness can be adjusted to 5 levels for comfortable viewing in various lighting conditions.

  1. Press the DIMMER button repeatedly.
  2. Cycle through the 5 brightness levels (LV1 to LV5) until you reach your preferred setting.

Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, you can activate the snooze function for an additional 9 minutes of sleep.

  • Press the large SNOOZE/OK button on the top of the clock.
  • The alarm will pause for 9 minutes and then sound again.
  • You can repeat the snooze function multiple times.

USB Charging Port

The alarm clock is equipped with a USB port to charge your mobile devices.

  • Connect your smartphone, tablet, or other USB-powered device to the USB charging port on the side of the alarm clock using your device's charging cable.
  • The device will begin charging.

12/24H Time Format & DST Function

You can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats and enable Daylight Saving Time (DST).

  • To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, press the 12/24H button on the side of the clock.
  • To enable or disable Daylight Saving Time (DST), press and hold the DST button on the side of the clock. The DST indicator will appear or disappear from the display.

Maintenance

  • To clean the alarm clock, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface.
  • Keep the device away from water and excessive moisture.
  • Avoid exposing the clock to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

Display is blank or not lighting up.No power connection or power outage.Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into the clock and the wall outlet. Check if the outlet is working.
Alarm does not sound.Alarm is not set or not activated. Alarm volume is too low.Verify that the alarm is set and the alarm indicator is visible on the display. Adjust the alarm volume to a higher level.
