Setup Instructions

  1. Prepare Air Stones/Accessories: If using new air stones, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to ensure optimal bubble production.
  2. Connect Air Tubing:
    • Attach one end of the 4mm air tubing (not included) to each of the two air outlets on the pump.
    • Connect the other end of the tubing to your air stone, sponge filter, or other air-driven aquarium accessories.
  3. Install Check Valve (if necessary): If the air pump is placed below the aquarium's water level, install a check valve (not included) in each air line between the pump and the aquarium. This prevents water from siphoning back into the pump during a power outage.
  4. Position the Pump: Place the air pump on a stable, flat surface. For best performance and to prevent water damage, it is recommended to place the pump above the water level of your aquarium. The integrated suction cup feet help keep the pump stable and reduce vibration.
  5. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 110-120V/60Hz electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Once connected to power, the pump will begin operating.
  2. Adjust Airflow: Rotate the control knob located on the front of the pump to increase or decrease the air output. Turn clockwise to increase airflow and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust the airflow to suit the needs of your aquarium and the specific accessories used.
  3. Monitor Performance: Observe the bubble production from your air stones or sponge filters to ensure adequate oxygenation.
