4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The tesha Pen requires one AAAA alkaline battery (included). Follow these steps to install the battery:

  1. Gently twist the top cap of the pen counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
  2. Insert one AAAA battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the pen tip.
  3. Twist the top cap clockwise to securely close the battery compartment.

4.2 Initial Use

The tesha Pen does not require Bluetooth pairing. Once the battery is correctly installed, the pen is ready for immediate use with any compatible Microsoft Surface device. Simply touch the pen tip to the screen to begin writing or drawing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Eraser and Right-Click Functions

The tesha Pen features two side buttons for quick access to common functions:

  • Lower Button (Eraser): Press and hold the lower button while touching the pen tip to the screen to activate the eraser function in compatible applications.
  • Upper Button (Right-Click): Press the upper button to perform a right-click action, similar to a mouse. This can open context menus or provide additional options depending on the application.

5.2 Palm Rejection

6. Maintenance
