1. Product Overview
The Torin AT82001B hydraulic trolley service jack combo includes one floor jack and two jack stands. This combination provides the essential equipment for safely lifting and supporting most passenger vehicles. The floor jack is constructed from heavy-duty steel, designed for durability. It features a 2-ton (4,000 lb) load capacity with a lifting range from 5-1/4 inches to 13-3/8 inches. A safety bypass system is integrated to prevent overloading. Maneuverability is enhanced by two large steel casters and two 360-degree swivel casters. A built-in carrying handle facilitates portability. The accompanying jack stands are made of high-grade forged steel with a welded frame, offering adjustable height from 10-13/16 inches to 16-9/16 inches and a 2-ton (4,000 lb) load capacity. Their multi-position ratchet bar and wide pyramid foot base ensure secure support. This product is tested to meet ASME standards for reliability and safety.

- Do not exceed the rated load capacity of 2 tons (4,000 lbs) for both the jack and the jack stands.
- Position the jack and jack stands only at the vehicle manufacturer's recommended lifting points. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual.
- Chock unlifted wheels to prevent accidental movement of the vehicle.
- Ensure no one is in the vehicle when lifting or lowering.
- Lower the vehicle slowly and carefully.
- Keep hands and feet clear of moving parts and pinch points.
- Do not modify the jack or jack stands. Use only as intended.

5. Setup and Initial Preparation
5.1 Assembling the Jack Handle
- Unpack the jack handle components. The handle typically comes in two pieces.
- Slide the upper handle section into the lower handle section until it locks securely.
- Insert the assembled handle into the handle receiver on the rear of the hydraulic floor jack. Ensure it is fully seated.

5.2 Bleeding the Hydraulic System (Before First Use)
Air can become trapped in the hydraulic system during shipping. Bleeding the system ensures proper operation.
- Locate the release valve on the jack. This is typically a screw or knob near the handle receiver.
- Using the handle, turn the release valve counter-clockwise one full turn to open it.
- Pump the handle 10-15 full strokes to force any trapped air out of the system.
- Turn the release valve clockwise until it is firmly closed. Do not overtighten.
- Test the jack by lifting it to its full height and then lowering it. Repeat a few times. If operation is not smooth, repeat the bleeding process.

5.3 Preparing Jack Stands
The jack stands are ready for use out of the box. Familiarize yourself with their adjustment mechanism.
- To adjust height, lift the ratchet bar and slide it to the desired position. Ensure the pawl fully engages with the teeth.
- Always ensure both jack stands are set to the same height before supporting a vehicle.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Lifting a Vehicle
- Park the vehicle on a hard, level surface. Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels that will remain on the ground.
- Consult your vehicle's owner's manual to locate the manufacturer's recommended lifting points.
- Position the hydraulic floor jack directly under the designated lifting point. Ensure the saddle of the jack is centered and making full contact with the lifting point.
- Close the release valve by turning it clockwise until it is firmly closed.
- Pump the jack handle to raise the vehicle to the desired height. Lift only high enough to allow placement of jack stands.
6.2 Supporting with Jack Stands
- Once the vehicle is lifted, position the jack stands under the vehicle at the manufacturer's recommended support points, adjacent to the jack's lifting point.
- Adjust the height of the jack stands so that the vehicle's weight will rest securely on them. Ensure the pawl is fully engaged in the ratchet bar.
- Slowly open the jack's release valve by turning it counter-clockwise. Allow the vehicle to descend gently onto the jack stands.
- Once the vehicle is fully supported by the jack stands, remove the hydraulic floor jack.
- Before working under the vehicle, gently shake the vehicle to ensure it is stable on the jack stands.

- Position the hydraulic floor jack under the original lifting point and raise the vehicle slightly, just enough to relieve pressure from the jack stands.
- Remove the jack stands from under the vehicle.
- Slowly and carefully turn the jack's release valve counter-clockwise to lower the vehicle to the ground. Control the descent speed.
- Once the vehicle is fully on the ground, remove the jack and wheel chocks.

7. Maintenance
7.1 General Care
- Keep the jack and jack stands clean and free of dirt, grease, and debris.
- Inspect all components before each use for signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Do not use if any part is damaged.
- Lubricate moving parts periodically with light machine oil.
7.2 Hydraulic Fluid Check/Refill
Check the hydraulic fluid level every three months or as needed.
- With the jack fully lowered, remove the oil filler plug.
- The fluid level should be just below the filler hole.
- If low, add high-quality hydraulic jack oil (e.g., ISO VG 15 or equivalent) until the correct level is reached. Do not overfill.
- Replace the oil filler plug securely.
