2. Safety Information

4. Installation

Tools Required: Screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, safety glasses, gloves.

  1. Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker to the junction box where the fixture will be installed.
  2. Mounting Bracket Installation: Attach the mounting bracket (included in hardware kit) to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
  3. Wiring Connections:
    • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
    • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
    • Connect the green or bare copper ground wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper ground wire from the junction box.
    Secure all connections with wire nuts and electrical tape.
  4. Fixture Attachment: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the mounting surface.
  5. Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed and all connections are checked, restore power at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

This LED wall light is designed for simple operation.

  • Power On/Off: The light is controlled by a standard wall switch connected to the electrical circuit. Flip the switch to turn the light on or off.
  • Dimming Functionality: This fixture supports smooth and continuous dimming when used with an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. It can dim down to 10% of its full brightness with compatible ELV dimmers. Ensure your dimmer switch is ELV compatible for optimal performance.

6. Maintenance

The WAC Lighting Cylinder LED Wall Light requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish or electrical components.
  • LED Longevity: The integrated LED module has a rated life of 50,000 hours and does not require bulb replacement.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of damage or loose connections, especially if installed outdoors.
