Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your Lume Cube Panel Mini. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the side of the light and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source. The LCD screen will indicate charging status.

2. Attaching the Shoe Mount

To mount the light onto a camera or tripod, screw the DSLR Mini Shoe Mount into one of the 1/4"-20 screw threads located on the bottom or side of the Lume Cube Panel Mini. Securely tighten the mount. Then, slide the shoe mount into your camera's hot shoe or a compatible tripod mount.

3. Applying the Softening Diffuser

For softer, more even light output, slide the Softening Silicone Diffuser over the LED panel. Ensure it fits snugly around the edges of the light.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or back) for approximately 2 seconds to turn the light on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate upon power-on.

2. Adjusting Brightness

Use the adjustment wheel or dedicated buttons (often marked with '+' and '-') to increase or decrease the light's brightness from 1% to 100%. The LCD screen will display the current brightness percentage.

3. Adjusting Color Temperature

To change the color temperature, press the mode button (often labeled 'M' or with a similar icon) to switch to color temperature adjustment mode. Then, use the adjustment wheel or '+' and '-' buttons to select a temperature between 3200K (warm) and 5600K (cool). The LCD screen will show the selected Kelvin value.

4. Understanding the LCD Display

The built-in LCD screen provides real-time information:

• Battery Life: Indicated by a battery icon and estimated remaining runtime in hours/minutes.
• Brightness: Shown as a percentage (e.g., 50%).
• Color Temperature: Displayed in Kelvin (e.g., 4500K).

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the light. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
• Storage: Store the Lume Cube Panel Mini in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Diffuser Care: The silicone diffuser can be washed with water if it becomes dirty, restoring its stickiness and effectiveness.

Troubleshooting

• Light not turning on: Ensure the device is charged. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
• Battery not charging: Check the USB-C cable and power source. Try a different cable or adapter.
• Inconsistent brightness/color: Ensure the controls are not accidentally being adjusted. If issues persist, try resetting the device by fully discharging and then recharging.
• Light output too harsh: Ensure the Softening Silicone Diffuser is correctly attached.
