1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the assembly, safe operation, and maintenance of your UNISKY Bike Repair Stand, model TQXL-17. Please read this manual thoroughly before initial use to ensure proper setup and to maximize the lifespan of your product.
2. Safety Information
- Weight Capacity: The maximum bearing capacity for storing a bike is 30 kg (66 pounds). During repair, the maximum bearing capacity is 20 kg (44 pounds). Do not exceed these limits.
- E-Bikes: This repair stand is not suitable for e-bikes due to their increased weight.
- Stability: Before moving the repair stand, always remove your bicycle. When repairing or assembling a bike, do not move the legs of the workstand.
- Assembly: Ensure all components are securely fastened before placing a bicycle on the stand. Pay close attention to the elbow part connection during assembly.
- Disassembly: Avoid frequent disassembly of the stand. If disassembly is necessary, it is recommended not to disassemble the elbow part to prevent wear.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly:
- Main Stand Assembly (Vertical Post, Base Legs)
- Bicycle Clamping Device
- Front Wheel Stabilizer Rod
- Magnetic Tool Tray
- Instruction Manual
4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your UNISKY Bike Repair Stand:
- Unfold the Base: Carefully unfold the two steel legs of the stand until they are fully extended and stable. Ensure the quick-release mechanisms are locked.
- Attach the Clamping Device: Insert the horizontal arm of the clamping device into the top of the main vertical post. Ensure the hump in the elbow part is pressed firmly into the jaw of the upright tube. Secure it using the provided locking mechanism.
- Install the Tool Tray: Slide the magnetic tool tray onto the vertical post at a convenient height. The tray can be adjusted and secured with its locking collar.
- Attach Front Wheel Stabilizer: Connect the front wheel stabilizer rod to the main vertical post or the clamping device as desired. This rod helps prevent the front wheel from turning during maintenance.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Height Adjustment
The stand's height can be adjusted to suit your working preference. Loosen the quick-release lever on the vertical post, extend or retract the post to the desired height (ranging from 36.2 inches to 59.8 inches), and then securely fasten the quick-release lever.

5.2. Clamping Your Bicycle
The quick-release clamp is designed to hold your bike securely without damaging its finish. It accommodates bike crossbars with a diameter range of 1 inch to 1.57 inches.
- Open the clamp jaws by operating the quick-release lever.
- Carefully position your bicycle's frame or seat post within the clamp jaws.
- Close the quick-release lever to secure the bike. Ensure the bike is held firmly but not excessively tight.

5.3. 360-Degree Rotation
The clamping head can rotate 360 degrees, allowing easy access to all parts of your bicycle for maintenance. Loosen the red knob at the back of the clamping head, rotate the bike to the desired angle, and then tighten the knob to lock it in position.

5.4. Using the Front Wheel Stabilizer
The adjustable front wheel stabilizer prevents the front wheel from turning freely while the bike is mounted, providing a more stable working platform. Adjust its length using the knob and buckle it to the clamping device or frame.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the stand with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt, grease, and grime. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Lubrication: Periodically check and lubricate moving parts, such as quick-release mechanisms, to ensure smooth operation.
- Storage: When not in use, the stand can be folded for compact storage. Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect all bolts, nuts, and quick-release levers for tightness. Ensure the plastic components are free from cracks or damage.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Stand Instability or Bike Leaning
If the stand feels unstable or the bike leans excessively, consider the following:
- Center of Gravity: Ensure the bicycle is clamped as close to its center of gravity as possible. This distributes the weight evenly and enhances stability.
- Legs Fully Extended: Verify that the stand's legs are fully extended and locked into position.
- Surface: Use the stand on a flat, level, and stable surface.
- Weight Limit: Confirm that the weight of your bicycle does not exceed the stand's maximum capacity (20 kg / 44 lbs during repair).
