4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Preparing Your Food

Prepare your desired dough or batter (e.g., arepa dough, pancake batter). For arepas, form small balls of dough, ensuring they are soft enough to flatten slightly without excessive pressure when the lid is closed. This helps ensure even cooking.

4.2 Cooking Process

  1. Once the green indicator light is on, carefully place your prepared food (dough, batter, or eggs) into the six non-stick cooking cavities.
  2. Close the lid and secure it with the built-in safety lock. This ensures the maker remains closed during cooking and storage.
  3. Allow the food to cook for approximately 7-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Cooking times may vary based on the recipe and desired crispness.
  4. Once cooked, carefully open the lid and remove the food using a heat-resistant, non-abrasive utensil.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Cleaning

Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. The non-stick coating ensures easy cleanup. Wipe the cooking plates with a damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, use a small amount of mild dish soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the non-stick surface. The exterior can be wiped with a damp cloth.

5.2 Storage

The Multi-Food Maker features a space-saving compact design with anti-slip feet and built-in cord storage, allowing for convenient vertical storage. Ensure the appliance is clean and completely dry before storing.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Appliance not heating: Ensure the unit is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the red indicator light is on. If not, check the power source.
  • Food sticking: Ensure the cooking plates are clean and dry before use. While the surface is non-stick, a very light application of cooking spray or oil can be used if needed, especially for certain recipes. Ensure the appliance is fully preheated (green light on) before adding food.
  • Uneven cooking: Ensure dough or batter is evenly distributed in the cavities and the lid is closed properly without excessive pressure. Allow adequate cooking time.
  • Lid not closing properly: Ensure the food portions are not too large, preventing the lid from closing and latching correctly.
