4. Installation Instructions
4.1 Pre-Installation
- Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before starting any electrical work.
- Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
- Review the safety information in Section 1.
4.2 Mounting the Fixture
- Attach the mounting bracket to the electrical box in the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure the electrical box is securely fastened to a structural member.
- Connect the fixture's wires to the house wires according to standard electrical codes (usually black to black, white to white, and ground to ground). Use wire nuts to secure connections.
- Carefully tuck the wires into the electrical box.
- Secure the canopy to the mounting bracket, ensuring it covers the electrical box completely.
- Adjust the chain/cord length as desired. The chain/cord length is 59 inches (150 cm) and is adjustable.
4.3 Bulb Installation
- Insert one E26/E27 base bulb (not included, max 40W) into the lamp holder.
- Ensure the bulb is securely screwed in.
5. Operating Instructions
Once installed and the power is restored, the pendant light can be operated using a standard wall switch (not included). This fixture does not have an integrated switch.
- Ensure the light bulb is correctly installed.
- Turn on the power at the circuit breaker.
- Use the wall switch connected to the fixture to turn the light on or off.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Always turn off the power and allow the fixture to cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
6.2 Bulb Replacement
- Turn off the power at the circuit breaker and allow the bulb to cool completely.
- Carefully unscrew the old bulb.
- Screw in a new E26/E27 base bulb (max 40W).
- Restore power at the circuit breaker.
