The hygger HG957 features an integrated timer control panel for easy programming. The light bar contains a combination of 6500K White, 450-455nm Blue, 620-625nm Red, 520-525nm Green, and RGB LEDs to provide a full spectrum for plant growth and vibrant fish colors.

5. Setup

5.1 Mounting the Light

Attach the adjustable metal mounting legs to both ends of the light fixture. Place the light fixture on top of your aquarium, ensuring the legs are securely resting on the tank edges. The adjustable legs allow the light to fit aquariums with widths between 36 and 42 inches.

5.2 Connecting Power

Connect the power supply adapter to the light fixture and then plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet. The light will turn on in auto cycle mode by default.

6.1 Setting Local Time

Before programming any light cycles, set the current local time on the control panel. Refer to the video below for a visual guide on how to set the local time.

6.2 Standard Mode (Daylight & Moonlight Cycle)

The default auto cycle simulates a natural 24-hour light cycle with gradual sunrise, midday, sunset, and night phases. The white daylight mode combines white, red, green, and blue LEDs for bright illumination. The moonlight mode offers 6 single-colored options (red, purple, blue, cyan, green, yellow) and 10 dimmable levels.

6.3 DIY Mode

The DIY mode allows for custom scheduling of light intensity and color for up to 8 separate time slots (L1-L8). Sections L1 to L6 are for full spectrum light, while L7 and L8 are for blue light. To turn off the light during a specific slot, set the intensity to 00.

6.4 Fine Tuning Color Temperature

You can fine-tune the color temperature by pressing the bulb button twice. The middle array of RGB LEDs will change to other colors, allowing for customized color combinations and lighting presets.

7.1 Cleaning
