6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Recording (Loop Recording)

The dash cam features continuous loop recording. When the 32GB card is full, the oldest videos will be automatically overwritten to ensure continuous recording. Videos can be recorded in 1, 3, or 5-minute intervals.

6.2 G-Sensor Function

The built-in G-sensor automatically detects sudden shakes or collisions and locks the current video footage, preventing it from being overwritten during loop recording. This ensures critical event footage is preserved.

6.3 Parking Monitor

With an optional hardwire kit (not included), the dash cam can provide 24-hour parking monitoring. This feature allows the camera to record events even when the vehicle is parked, protecting your car at all times.

6.4 Night Vision

The dash cam combines an f1.8 aperture and WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology to provide super night vision. This allows the camera to capture clear details even in low light conditions, improving visibility during nighttime driving.

For computer playback, connect the dash cam using the USB cable or insert the Micro SD card into a computer using the provided USB card reader. Files are in MOV format.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Formatting the SD Card

Regularly format the Micro SD card to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. This can typically be done through the dash cam's settings menu.

7.2 Cleaning

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam's lens and screen. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Biuone A20 Dash Cam, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Rear Camera Not Displaying: Ensure all cable connections are secure. If using reversing mode, verify the red wire is correctly connected to the reversing light's positive pole.
  • Sound Issues: Press the "down button" to toggle audio recording on/off. Check volume settings if applicable.
  • SD Card Full: The loop recording function should automatically overwrite old files. If not, manually format the SD card via the settings menu. Ensure G-sensor and motion detection are not set too sensitively, as this can lock too many files and fill the card.
  • Battery Life: The internal battery is small and primarily for emergency parking situations. The dash cam requires continuous power from the car charger for normal operation. Do not use a standard USB cable as a charger; it is for data transfer only.
  • Mounting Issues: If the suction cup is not sticking, ensure the windshield surface is clean and dry.
  • General Malfunctions: Try resetting the device to factory settings (this will erase custom settings).

If issues persist, please contact Biuone customer support for assistance.
