Product Overview

Clorox Disinfecting Bleach is a powerful 5-in-1 liquid bleach designed to clean, disinfect, whiten, brighten, and remove odors. It effectively kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, including MRSA, norovirus, strep, E.coli, salmonella, flu virus, and COVID-19 virus, when used as directed on hard, nonporous surfaces. This product also prevents odor-causing bacteria growth for 48 hours.

It is suitable for use on over 30 types of surfaces, such as kitchen and bathroom sinks, countertops, toilets, pet items, toys, and outdoor furniture. It also serves as a laundry additive to keep whites whiter and remove stains.

Safety Information

DANGER: CORROSIVE

Eye and skin irritant.

Avoid contact with eyes. For sensitive skin or prolonged use, wear rubber gloves. Use with adequate ventilation.

First Aid:

• If contact with eyes occurs, immediately rinse with water for 15 minutes. Call a doctor.
• If contact with skin occurs, rinse with water. If irritation persists, call a doctor.
• If swallowed, drink a glass of water. Call a doctor or poison control center.

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not use or mix with other household chemicals as hazardous gases may result.

Usage Instructions

For Laundry:

To Brighten and Whiten Bleachable Fabrics:

1. Sort laundry by color.
2. Add detergent.
3. Fill bleach to max line or add bleach to wash water (1/3 cup for standard or HE machine).
4. Add clothes.

To Clean and Sanitize Bleachable Fabrics:

1. Sort laundry by color.
2. Add detergent.
3. Fill bleach to max line or add to wash water (1/2 cup for standard, 1/4 cup for HE machine).
4. Add clothes. Ensure contact with bleach for 10 minutes.

For Disinfecting and Deodorizing Hard, Nonporous Surfaces:

For Disinfecting:

• Mix 1/3 cup of bleach per 1 gallon of water.
• Pre-wash surface, mop, wipe or spray with bleach solution.
• Allow surface to remain visibly wet for 6 minutes. Rinse and air dry.

For Sanitizing Food Contact Surfaces:

• Mix 2 teaspoons of bleach per 1 gallon of water.
• Mop or wipe surface with bleach solution until thoroughly wet. Allow surface to air dry.

For Preventing Odor-Causing Bacteria Growth (up to 48 hours):

• Mix 1/3 cup of bleach per 1 gallon of water.
• Pre-wash surface, mop, wipe or spray with bleach solution.
• Allow surface to remain visibly wet for 6 minutes. Rinse and air dry.

Storage and Disposal

Store away from children. Store in a cool, dry area, away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not reuse empty container. Offer for recycling if available, or discard in trash.
