Setup and Installation
The installation process requires careful measurement and secure mounting. The door can be installed with a left or right opening direction.
1. Measure and Plan
Before drilling, carefully measure the installation area. Ensure sufficient space for the door to slide open completely. Consider the dimensions of the door and the required rail length.

Image: Detailed dimensions of the sliding door system. The door panel is 1025 mm wide and 2200 mm high. The rail length is 2100 mm, and the total height from the floor to the top of the rail is 2260 mm. The rail is positioned 45 mm from the wall.

Image: Dimension recommendations for various door sizes. For a 1025x2200 mm door, the recommended passage width is up to 985 mm, passage height up to 2165 mm, and rail length is 2100 mm. The distance between the door and the wall is 13 mm (without spacer profile) or 16 mm (with spacer profile).
2. Mount the Rail System
- Mark the drilling points for the rail on the wall according to the provided measurements and ensure it is perfectly level.
- Drill holes and insert appropriate wall anchors.
- Attach the aluminum rail system securely to the wall using the provided screws and the 16 mm wall spacer profile.

3. Install the Glass Door Panel
- Attach the suspension rollers to the top edge of the glass door panel. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- With assistance, carefully lift the glass door panel and hook the suspension rollers into the rail system.
- Adjust the door's height and alignment if necessary.
4. Install the Floor Guide
- Position the floor guide to prevent the door from swinging. It should be aligned with the bottom edge of the door.
- Mark and drill holes, then secure the floor guide to the floor.

5. Install the Handle and Soft-Close Mechanism
- Attach the round handle(s) to the glass door panel. These are typically adhesive-backed for easy installation.
- If the soft-close mechanism is not pre-installed, integrate it into the rail system according to the specific instructions provided with the component. This mechanism ensures a gentle and quiet closing of the door.

Operating the Sliding Door
Your inova Schulte glass sliding door is designed for smooth and quiet operation.
- Opening/Closing: Use the round handle to gently slide the door along the rail.
- Soft-Close Function: As the door approaches its fully open or closed position, the integrated soft-close mechanism will engage, slowing the door down for a gentle stop. Do not force the door against this mechanism.
- Obstructions: Ensure the path of the door is clear of any obstructions to prevent damage to the glass or the mechanism.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your sliding door.
- Cleaning Glass: Clean the glass panel with a soft cloth and a standard glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the glass or damage the opaque finish.
- Cleaning Aluminum: Wipe aluminum components with a soft, damp cloth. Mild soap can be used if necessary, followed by a clean water rinse and drying.
- Rail and Rollers: Periodically check the rail and rollers for any dust or debris. Clean with a dry cloth or a soft brush. The ball bearings are maintenance-free and do not require lubrication.
- Floor Guide: Ensure the floor guide remains free of debris to allow smooth movement of the door.
- Fittings: Periodically check all screws and fittings to ensure they remain tight. Do not overtighten.
