Setup and Assembly
Before assembly, ensure all parts are present and undamaged. Refer to the detailed parts list and diagrams included in your product packaging. Assembly typically requires two people.
1. Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage, missing parts, or defects. Do not proceed with assembly if parts are damaged. Contact Cadac customer support immediately if any issues are found.
2. Assembling the Cart and Cabinet
Follow the step-by-step diagrams provided in the separate assembly guide. Attach the wheels and ensure the cart is stable. The enclosed 2-door cabinet provides convenient storage for the propane tank and other grilling accessories.

3. Attaching the Grill Head
Carefully place the grill head onto the assembled cart, ensuring it is securely fastened according to the assembly instructions. Connect the gas manifold to the burners as directed.
4. Installing Grates and Warming Rack
Place the ThermoGrill grates into their designated positions on the main cooking surface. Install the slide-out food warming rack above the main grates.

5. Propane Tank Connection and Leak Test
Connect the propane gas tank to the regulator hose. Ensure all connections are tight. It is critical to perform a leak test before the first use and after every propane tank change.
Leak Test Procedure:
- Mix a solution of equal parts liquid dish soap and water.
- Ensure all grill burner control knobs are in the "OFF" position.
- Turn on the gas supply slowly at the propane tank valve.
- Apply the soap solution generously to all gas connections, including the regulator connection to the tank, and the hose connections to the grill.
- If bubbles appear, there is a gas leak. Immediately turn off the gas supply at the tank. Tighten the leaking connection(s) and repeat the test. If leaks persist after tightening, do not use the grill and contact customer support.
- If no bubbles appear, the connections are secure. Turn off the gas supply at the tank before proceeding.
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-heating the Grill
Open the grill lid. Turn on the gas supply at the propane tank. Turn one burner control knob to the "HIGH" position and press the automatic piezo igniter button. Once ignited, turn on other burners as needed. Close the lid and allow the grill to preheat for 10-15 minutes to reach the desired cooking temperature. The integrated thermometer in the lid will indicate the internal temperature.

2. Cooking
Place food directly on the ThermoGrill grates. Adjust burner controls to achieve desired cooking temperature. The ThermoGrill system is designed to provide quick heat-up, uniform surface temperature, and even heat distribution for consistent cooking results.
3. Using the Warming Rack
The slide-out warming rack is ideal for keeping cooked food warm, toasting buns, or gently melting cheese without direct high heat.
4. Shutting Down the Grill
When finished cooking, turn all burner control knobs to the "OFF" position. Turn off the gas supply at the propane tank valve. Close the grill lid.
Care and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Cadac Meridian grill and ensure safe operation.
1. Cleaning the Grates
After each use, once the grill has cooled sufficiently, brush off any food residue from the ThermoGrill grates using a stiff grill brush. For deeper cleaning, the grates can be removed and washed with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before replacing.
2. Cleaning the Drip Cup
The easy-to-clean drip cup collects grease and food drippings. Regularly remove and empty the drip cup to prevent overflow and potential flare-ups. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry before reinserting.

3. Exterior Cleaning
Wipe down stainless steel surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild detergent or a specialized stainless steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or pads that could scratch the finish. The grill is constructed from rust-resistant stainless steel, but regular cleaning helps maintain its appearance and longevity. The weather-resistant stainless steel side tables can also be cleaned similarly.
4. Storage
When not in use, store the grill in a dry, protected area. The side tables fold down for more compact storage. Ensure the propane tank is disconnected and stored safely in an upright position, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your grill. For problems not listed here, please contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Burner not igniting | No gas flow, clogged burner port, faulty igniter electrode or wire. | Check propane tank level and ensure valve is fully open. Clean burner ports with a wire brush. Inspect igniter electrode and wire for damage or misalignment. |
| Low flame or uneven heat | Low gas pressure, partially clogged burner tubes, regulator issue (e.g., bypass mode activated). | Ensure tank valve is fully open. Clean burner tubes. Reset regulator by turning off all gas, disconnecting, waiting 30 seconds, then reconnecting and slowly opening tank valve. |
| Gas smell | Gas leak. | Immediately turn off gas supply at the tank. Evacuate the area. Perform a leak test (see Setup section). Do not operate the grill if a leak persists. Contact emergency services if the smell is strong or persistent. |
| Lid not sealing properly | Misalignment of hinges or lid, physical damage. | Inspect hinges and lid for any damage or misalignment. Gently adjust if possible. If damage is significant, contact customer support. |
