1. Product Overview

The Harman Kardon Neo is a compact and portable Bluetooth speaker designed to deliver high-quality audio on the go. 3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the Harman Kardon Neo. Connect the supplied Type C USB cable to the charging port on the speaker and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

• The charging time is approximately 10 hours for a full charge.
• A full charge provides up to 10 hours of playtime, depending on volume level and audio content.

3.2 Powering On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power button until the indicator light illuminates.
• To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the indicator light turns off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Bluetooth Pairing

The Harman Kardon Neo uses Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming. Ensure your device is within 10 meters (33 feet) of the speaker for optimal connection.

1. Turn on the Harman Kardon Neo. It will automatically enter pairing mode if it's the first time or if no device is connected. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
2. On your smartphone or tablet, go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
3. Select "Harman Kardon Neo" from the list of available devices.
4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

To pair with a new device, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker until the indicator flashes again, then repeat steps 2 and 3.

4.2 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• Volume Up: Press the Volume + button.
• Volume Down: Press the Volume - button.
• Next Track: Double-press the Play/Pause button.
• Previous Track: Triple-press the Play/Pause button.

4.3 Speakerphone Function

The Harman Kardon Neo features a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.

• Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during an incoming call.
• End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button during an incoming call.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and performance of your speaker:

• Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, benzene, or other chemicals, as these may damage the finish or internal components.
• Ensure the charging port is dry before connecting the charging cable.

5.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before storing and to recharge it every few months to maintain battery health.

5.3 Waterproof Information (IPX7)

The Harman Kardon Neo is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be immersed in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. This rating applies to fresh water only. Do not expose the speaker to salt water, chlorinated water, or other chemicals. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
