4. Setup

4.1 Placement

  • Place the dehumidifier on a level, stable surface.
  • Ensure adequate airflow around the unit. Do not block the air inlet or outlet.
  • Keep the unit at least 1 foot (30 cm) away from walls or other objects.
  • For optimal performance, operate the unit in an enclosed area.

4.2 Drainage Connection

The unit comes with a built-in condensate pump and a 19.6 ft drain hose for continuous drainage. Connect the drain hose to the quick-disconnect fitting on the unit and route it to a suitable drain location (e.g., sink, floor drain, or outdoors).

5.2 Basic Operation

  • Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.

5.4 Automatic Defrost

The unit is equipped with an automatic defrost system. When the ambient temperature is low, the unit will automatically initiate a defrost cycle to prevent ice buildup on the coils. During defrost, the compressor temporarily stops while the fan continues to run. Once defrost is complete, normal operation resumes.

5.5 Memory Restart

In the event of a power interruption, the unit will automatically restart with its previous settings once power is restored. No manual intervention is required.
