4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Pedal Operation

The backhoe is pedal-powered. Instruct the child to place their feet on the pedals and push alternately to move the vehicle forward or backward. Steering is controlled by the steering wheel.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the product with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the backhoe in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to prevent material degradation.
  • Inspection: Regularly check all screws, nuts, and moving parts to ensure they are secure and functioning correctly. Tighten any loose fasteners.
  • Lubrication: Moving parts, such as the excavator arm joints, may benefit from occasional lubrication with a child-safe lubricant to ensure smooth operation.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Stiff Moving Parts: If the front loader or excavator arm feels stiff, check for any obstructions. Applying a small amount of child-safe lubricant to the pivot points may help.
  • Pedals Not Engaging: Inspect the pedal mechanism for any debris or damage. Ensure the chain (if applicable) is properly seated and tensioned.
  • Loose Components: Periodically check and tighten all screws and fasteners. If a part is consistently loose or damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.
