Usage
The Arlington Radiator Cover is designed to safely and stylishly conceal your radiator. It provides a useful top shelf for displaying decorative items, photos, or small plants. Ensure that items placed on the shelf do not obstruct heat dissipation or pose a fire hazard.
- Placement: Position the cover over your radiator, ensuring there is sufficient clearance for heat to escape through the slatted design.
- Decoration: Utilize the top shelf for lightweight decorative items. Avoid placing heavy objects that could compromise the cover's stability or damage the shelf.
- Heat Circulation: The slatted design allows for heat circulation. Do not block the slats with objects or fabrics.

Maintenance
To keep your Arlington Radiator Cover in optimal condition, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe with a dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth to prevent moisture damage to the MDF.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes, as these can damage the painted finish.
- Regular Checks: Periodically check all fasteners and wall mounts to ensure they remain tight and secure. Retighten if necessary.
- Temperature Control: Avoid exposing the cover to extreme temperature fluctuations or prolonged direct sunlight, which can cause warping or discoloration.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your radiator cover, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Cover is Unstable/Wobbly:
- Ensure all assembly screws and fasteners are fully tightened.
- Verify that the wall mounting brackets are securely attached to the wall and the cover is properly seated on them.
- Check if the floor is level. If not, consider using furniture pads or shims under the legs for stability.
- Difficulty Assembling:
- Re-read the assembly instructions carefully, paying attention to diagrams.
- Ensure you are using the correct hardware for each step.
- Do not force parts together; if they don't fit, recheck the orientation.
- Damage During Shipping:
- If parts arrived damaged, do not proceed with assembly. Contact Vida Designs customer support immediately for replacement parts.
