- Release the handle to allow the probe to gently close around the finger.
- Wait for the oximeter to display the SpO2 and pulse rate readings. Ensure the patient remains still during measurement for accurate results.
- To remove the probe, gently press the handle to open the clip and withdraw the finger.
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning
To clean the probe, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened with a mild disinfectant solution (e.g., 70% isopropyl alcohol). Do not immerse the probe in liquid. Ensure the probe is completely dry before storage or next use.
Storage

Relative Humidity: 15% to 90% (non-condensing).
Troubleshooting
No Reading or Inaccurate Reading
- Ensure the probe is securely connected to the oximeter.
- Verify the finger is correctly placed within the probe.
- Check if the patient is moving excessively.
- Ensure the oximeter itself is functioning correctly.
- Clean the sensor area of the probe.
Probe Not Fitting
- This probe is designed for adults. Ensure it is being used on an adult finger.
- Gently pull the probe to enlarge the space for various fingers if needed, as indicated in Figure 2.
