3.1 Rear Panel and Controls

4. Setup

4.1 Mounting

The fixture can be mounted in various positions using its adjustable bracket. Ensure all mounting hardware is securely fastened and capable of supporting the fixture's weight.

  • Floor Mount: Place the fixture on a stable, level surface.
  • Truss Mounting: Use appropriate clamps (not included) to attach the bracket to a lighting truss. Always use a safety cable (not included) as a secondary attachment.
  • Wall/Ceiling Mount: Secure the bracket to a sturdy wall or ceiling using suitable screws and anchors.

4.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cable to the POWER IN port on the rear panel and then to a suitable power outlet. Verify the voltage matches the product specifications.

4.3 DMX Connection (Optional)

For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller's output to the DMX IN port of the first fixture. Then, daisy-chain additional fixtures by connecting the DMX OUT of the first fixture to the DMX IN of the next, and so on. A DMX terminator is recommended for the last fixture in the chain.

5. Operating Instructions

The XPCLEOYZ LED Par Light offers several operating modes, accessible via the rear control panel.

5.1 Control Panel Navigation

  • Press MENU to cycle through main menu options (e.g., DMX Address, Auto Mode, Sound Mode, Master/Slave).
  • Use UP and DOWN to adjust values or select sub-options.
  • Press ENTER to confirm a selection or save a setting.

5.2 Operating Modes

  1. DMX512 Mode:

    This mode allows external control via a DMX controller. Set the DMX address for each fixture using the control panel. Each fixture requires a unique starting address.

  2. Auto Mode:

    The fixture cycles through pre-programmed light sequences. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select different auto programs or adjust speed.

  3. Sound-Activated Mode:

    The lights react to ambient sound. The built-in microphone detects sound, and the light patterns change accordingly. Sensitivity may be adjustable via the control panel.

  4. Master/Slave Mode:

    Connect multiple fixtures via DMX cables. Set one fixture as "Master" and the others as "Slave." The slave units will mimic the master's operation (e.g., Auto Mode, Sound Mode). Ensure the DMX OUT of the master connects to the DMX IN of the first slave, and so on.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the lens and housing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the fixture is powered off and cooled down before cleaning.
  • Inspection: Periodically check power cables, DMX cables, and mounting hardware for any signs of wear or damage. Replace damaged components immediately.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the fixture in a dry, dust-free environment, preferably in its original packaging or a padded case to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting
