Setup
Battery Installation
Each walkie talkie requires 4 AAA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the walkie talkie.
- Use a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Powering On/Off
- To turn on: Press and hold the Power / Menu button until the LCD screen illuminates.
- To turn off: Press and hold the Power / Menu button until the LCD screen turns off.
Operating Instructions
Channel Selection
Your walkie talkies feature 22 main channels. For communication, all walkie talkies must be on the same channel.
- Press the Power / Menu button once to enter channel selection mode. The channel number will flash on the LCD screen.
- Use the Up or Down buttons to select your desired channel (1-22).
- Press the Power / Menu button again to confirm your selection, or wait a few seconds for it to automatically set.
Talking (PTT)
- To speak, press and hold the PTT button located on the left side of the device. Speak clearly into the microphone.
- Release the PTT button to listen for incoming transmissions.
Volume Adjustment
While in standby mode, use the Up or Down buttons to adjust the speaker volume.
Call Tone
Press the Call / Lock button once to send a call tone to other walkie talkies on the same channel.
Flashlight Function
Press the Lamp / Scan button once to turn the built-in flashlight on or off.
Keypad Lock
To prevent accidental button presses, you can lock the keypad:
- To lock: Press and hold the Call / Lock button until a lock icon appears on the LCD screen.
- To unlock: Press and hold the Call / Lock button again until the lock icon disappears.
Channel Scan
To find active channels, use the scan feature:
- Press and hold the Lamp / Scan button (for approximately 3 seconds) to activate channel scanning. The walkie talkie will cycle through channels until it detects activity.
- To stop scanning, press the PTT button or the Lamp / Scan button again.
