1. Important Safeguards

• Ensure the crumb tray is properly installed before use.

3. Setup

Initial Use

1. Unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials, including any protective films or stickers.
2. Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.
3. Ensure the crumb tray is fully inserted.
4. Plug the power cord into a standard 110V AC electrical outlet.
5. For the first use, it is recommended to operate the toaster empty on the highest setting (Level 6) for a few minutes to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate.

4. Operating Instructions

Basic Toasting

1. Insert up to two slices of bread into the toasting slots.
2. Select your desired browning level using the shade setting dial (1-6).
3. Press the high lift lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
4. Once the toasting cycle is complete, the toast will automatically pop up. Use the high lift lever to raise the toast further for easy removal if needed.

Shade Settings

The toaster offers 6 browning levels to suit individual preferences, from lightly toasted to dark and crispy. Experiment with different settings to find your ideal toast shade.

Special Functions

The toaster includes three dedicated function buttons for enhanced versatility:

• Cancel: Press this button at any time to stop the toasting cycle immediately.
• Bagel: Activates a special setting that toasts the cut side of the bagel while gently warming the other side.

Extra Wide Slots

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Removable Crumb Tray

Regular cleaning of the crumb tray is essential to prevent crumb buildup, which can cause fire hazards and affect toaster performance.

1. Ensure the toaster is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
2. Pull out the removable crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster.
3. Discard accumulated crumbs.
4. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
5. Never operate the toaster without the crumb tray in place.

Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface. Ensure the toaster is completely dry before plugging it back in.

• Toaster not working: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
• Uneven toasting: Ensure bread slices are centered in the slots. Different types of bread may require different shade settings.
• Smoke or burning smell: Immediately press the Cancel button and unplug the toaster. Remove any lodged food particles after the toaster has cooled. Clean the crumb tray.
• Toast stuck: Unplug the toaster and allow it to cool. Carefully remove the toast using non-metallic utensils. Never use metal objects.
