Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Remove the back cover of the phone by gently prying it open from the notch.
2. Align the battery contacts with the terminals inside the battery compartment.
3. Press the battery down firmly until it clicks into place.
4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it snaps securely.

2. SIM Card Installation

The NUU F4L supports a standard SIM card. Ensure your SIM card is activated by your carrier (e.g., Verizon).

1. With the battery removed, locate the SIM card slot.
2. Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts facing down and the cut corner aligned with the slot.
3. Gently push the SIM card until it is fully seated.
4. Reinstall the battery and back cover.

3. Initial Power On and Charging

• Press and hold the Power/End Call button until the screen lights up.
• If the battery is low, connect the charging cable to the phone's charging port and plug the other end into a power adapter.
• Allow the phone to charge fully before first use.

Operating Instructions

Basic Navigation

• Navigation Keys: Use the directional pad (up, down, left, right) to navigate through menus and options.
• Center Key: Press the center key to select an option or confirm an action.
• Left Soft Key: Typically used for "Options" or "Menu" functions.
• Right Soft Key: Typically used for "Back" or "Cancel" functions.
• Call Key (Green): Press to make a call or answer an incoming call.

Making and Receiving Calls

• To Make a Call: From the home screen, dial the number using the keypad and press the Green Call key. Alternatively, navigate to "Contacts," select a contact, and press the Green Call key.
• To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, press the Green Call key to answer.
• To End a Call: Press the Red End Call key.

Text Messaging (SMS)

• Navigate to "Messaging" from the main menu.
• Select "New Message" or "Write Message."
• Enter the recipient's number or select from contacts.
• Type your message using the keypad. The phone supports T9 predictive text input.
• Press the "Send" option (usually the center key or left soft key) to send the message.

Camera Usage

The NUU F4L features a 2.0 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera.

• From the main menu, select "Camera."
• Frame your shot using the screen.
